Overview

The University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Nephrology is recruiting for a faculty member to join our growing clinical and academic division. As the selected faculty member, you will participate in all Divisional activities, including inpatient and outpatient renal consultation, acute and chronic dialysis, care of renal transplant patients, and resident and medical student teaching. We have an active commitment to clinical research and ongoing clinical trials; a new faculty member may choose to make this a significant career focus.  Rank and tenure will be determined for the best candidate based on training and experience.

The Department of Pediatrics is part of a dynamic, state-supported university medical campus with internationally-renowned research institutes and clinical programs.  There are extensive collaborative opportunities both within and outside of the Department.  Our Department of Transplant Surgery is one of the nation’s busiest.  There is significant patient material, potential collaboration and mentorship, core resources, and the supportive academic environment that together facilitate new and growing clinical research.

We are located near the downtown Inner Harbor area, just one of Baltimore’s many outstanding attractions.
