The University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Nephrology is recruiting for an Associate Professor or full Professor to serve as the Division Head. We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead an active clinical service with responsibilities for division administration and active roles in clinical, research, and teaching to join our growing clinical and academic division. As the selected faculty member, you will participate in all Divisional activities, including inpatient and outpatient renal consultation, acute and chronic dialysis, care of renal transplant patients, and resident and medical student teaching. We have an active commitment to clinical research and ongoing clinical trials; a new faculty member may choose to make this a significant career focus. Rank and tenure will be determined for the best candidate based on training and experience.
The Department of Pediatrics is part of a dynamic, state-supported university medical campus with internationally-renowned research institutes and clinical programs.
