Overview

The Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at the University of Maryland Medical Center and Midtown Campus, and the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Center (BVAMC) seek a full-time, BC/BE Gastroenterologist to expand our existing Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) program.  This position requires an MD degree from a recognized accredited university (or foreign equivalent), and candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted Maryland license. The successful candidate will possess clinical and personal skills to facilitate clinic and inpatient consultation, teaching of fellows, and supervision of NPs.  Qualified candidates will be skilled in routine endoscopic procedures and esophageal manometry/pH testing.  A record of clinical investigation is highly desirable.  Academic rank, tenure and salary will be commensurate with experience.  Qualified candidates should send a cover letter, CV and a list of three references to: SummyPhang, Physician Recruitment Specialist at sometheakphang@umm.edu.
